Our restaurant—with its recent expansion—is open to all our guests and also to the general public. Our kitchen fuses Mediterranean recipes with Patagonia’s most iconic products. Here you can try local specialties such as smoked salmon, sea snails (locos), silverside fish (pejerrey), scallops, and Magellanic lamb. Our goal is to make your dining experience unforgettable.

At Hostal Alcázar, we know how important it is to have the right gear to fully enjoy your adventure in Patagonia. That’s why we offer a wide range of camping and trekking equipment, available both for rental and purchase.

PIZZERIA
Our pizzeria offers 15 different varieties. Our recipe follows the classic Italian “Alla Romana” style, fused with the region’s most delicious ingredients such as lamb sausage, sheep chorizo, guanaco pastrami, artisan smoked salmon, and local beef tenderloin. We also have vegan and vegetarian options.
COFFEE SHOP
Our coffee shop, called “Dulce Chulada”, was recently opened to provide outstanding service with the most exquisite coffees and teas on the market, accompanied by regional pastries focused on local products and the most traditional flavors of our country—all prepared in our kitchen.
SPECIAL DINNERS FOR TOUR GROUPS
Our restaurant and pizzeria have a total capacity of 70 people. We are happy to work with tour groups and offer lunches and dinners with special menus and prices.
BAR
Our bar is open every day until midnight. Try a delicious Calafate Sour or Rhubarb Sour made fresh to order. Enjoy our wide selection of Chilean wines and, of course, local favorites such as fernet with cola or the famous “piscola”.
LAUNDRY
Industrial laundry service next to our hostal, available to our guests and the general public. We provide washing and drying with a minimum of 3 kg at very affordable prices. We also offer per-item washing, which includes ironing (price depends on the garment).
Fast, efficient, and responsible service. Our hours are from 08:30 AM to 10:00 PM, and we also receive laundry drop-offs at our hostal from 06:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
LUGGAGE STORAGE
Free luggage storage for guests who have a second stay with us. For the general public, the fee is $5,000 per bag, regardless of how many days it stays in our storage room.
